Plot Summary: After experiencing a strange dream, meetings Madoka Kaname, a kind of 14-year-old girl a magical creature called Kyube. Madoka and her friend Miki Sayaka offered the opportunity to have magical powers, if that makes a contract with the strange little creature. He will give them a desire, but in return will have to risk their lives by accepting responsibility for the control of witches. Invisible to the human eye, witches are catalysts for despair in the areas they live. An ally of Kyube, a magical girl named Mami Tomoe, befriends and encourages girls to accept the contract. For some unknown reason, another magical girl named Homura Akemi determined to prevent Madoka accept the agreement.
