    Product Description

Tomoki’s life was normal until a wish-granting angelic android named Ikaros fell from the sky and started calling him master! Of course, thanks to his raging teenage hormones, most of Tomoki’s wishes have something to do with panties. And that makes things pretty complicated, because one simple wish can lead to a rampaging robot made out of frilly undergarments. One tiny wish can turn bloomers into bombs capable of blowing up entire neighborhoods! If Tomoki doesn’t learn to control his impulses around Ikaros, and be more careful with his wishes, the chaos will only get crazier. Luckily, even with such a dirty mind, Tomoki’s heart is in the right place. His hands, however, are a completely different story.

The Limited Edition version comes in a collectible, rigid art box.

Based on the manga by Suu Minazuki, Heaven's Lost Property (2009) is another example of the nerd-meets-submissive-beauty genre, in the tradition of Chobits and Steel Angel Kurumi. Teenage Tomoki, who lives alone in rural Japan while his parents are away, insists "there's nothing like peace and quiet." He loses any hope of either when an explosion brings down beautiful, scantily clad Ikaros, who announces she's a "Pet-Class Angeloid." Tomoki is now her master, and she lives only to fulfill his desires. The presence of the buxom Ikaros gets Tomoki in trouble with his best friend and next-door neighbor Sohara. Nymph, a second Angeloid, arrives and reveals that Ikaros is really Uranus Queen, a terrible warrior, like Kurumi. Numerous contretemps ensue before things get sorted out more or less satisfactorily. Unfortunately, Tomoki comes across as a much less sympathetic character than Tenchi or Keitaro in Love, Hina: he's a lecher, a peeping tom, a slacker, and a fussbudget, and giving him occasional lines about friendship doesn't make up for his loutish behavior. But the series draws viewers for its many jiggle shots and panty jokes, rather than nuanced characters or plot subtleties. The popularity of Heaven's Lost Property and the related second TV series, OAV, and theatrical feature suggests that there's a large audience of lonely, hormonal adolescents eager to indulge their fantasies. (Rated TV MA: risqué humor, toilet humor, nudity, violence, violence against women) --Charles Solomon

4.0 out of 5 stars crass, lowbrow, ecchi - but very funny, October 27, 2011
If you are down on lowbrow anime pervert humor / ecchi comdey, regardless if there is some real cleverness & humor in it, then just walk away. This being another fantasy ecchi harem comedy, it has all of that & then some.

But this show really had me laughing. And there is an intersting mystery going on with some darker ominous undertones, creating some legitimate tension making you want to see the next episode. The angeloid characters are all well done characters with distinct different personalities & motivations. Our mian protaganist who ends up having to look after the angeloids, is an idiot. But one of the better idiots I have seen in these kinds of comedys, and well done character. It could be easy to dismiss a show like this as more fan service cheeasiness, but I think it does have some genuinely funny stuff going on throughout most of the show. The end credit animation & songs being different for each episode (and quite funny & clever) add a nice touch.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Anime but misleading Title, December 21, 2011
    Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
This review is from: Heaven's Lost Property: Complete Series (Limited Edition Blu-ray/DVD Combo) (Blu-ray)
This is indeed a great anime, but the title is a little misleading as in this is only the first season and not the second one. So calling it the "Complete series" is misleading to me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Entetaining Series But At The End Pretty Much The Usual One Too, January 13, 2012
    Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
If you've seen series like Sekirei/Rosario/Samurai Girls and the like you'll pretty know what to expect from this series as well, while it can't be truly counted so much as a harem anime the main male character does have more the standard love triangle we've seen with so many of these series. Again if you disapprove of series that fan service in them like the standard panty shots and topless nudity then pass this over as there will be a ton of it in the series and again while it doesn't pass that line into hentai scenarios it does border on it in a few scenes. The animation and soundtrack are put together nicely and work well and the voice cast was done pretty well too for both the subbed and dubbed. Know that this is only the first season set as the second season box set is coming out later this year but so far no release date, so if you liked other series like Rosario, My Bride is a mermaid or Sekriei here's another entertaining series to add to your anime collection library....
